GEO TV minivan violating traffic rules

What are the odds of a GEO minivan violating traffic rules? And what are the odds of capturing it on camera? Well, whatever the odds are, I (with the help of Moonis) was lucky enough to capture a sequence of pictures showing a GEO minivan violating traffic rules. The place is China Chowk, Blue Area, Islamabad and the time was 10:30PM 24th June 2009.
While it is exciting to catch this moment on camera, it is equally disappointing too. A TV network that boasts so much of its achievements in highlighting key issues of our country and which talks so much about law and order, is unable to educate its employees about simple traffic rules.
GEO’s vision as mentioned on their website:
“GEO will be the voice of freedom from the Asian subcontinent. It will highlight the issues of concern and the cultural richness of its people through information, discussion and entertainment.“
Since highlighting issues of concern is the vision of GEO, then I would request the GEO team to please highlight this issue on their own channel and before doing that they should pay the fines for violation of traffic rules.

I highly appreciate your effort to bring the awareness and exposing out the hypocrisy of GEO network. Besides few very good programmes, GEO remained involved in making cheap and fake reports, demoralising the nation and our troops, projecting western propaganda against Pakistan. It seems GEO is simply a psy-ops of foreign powers, meant to spread disinformation among the masses, changing the perceptions and to create confusion.
Kindly do visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhWKY1vDd7w and find how GEO fabricate Pakistan’s National Flag on 14th August 2007’s show of Dr. Shahid Masood. I sent myself hundreds of mails of protest to columnists, journalists and GEO’s team (including Hamid Mir and Dr. Shahid Masood) showing my displeasure and asking for apologies. No one replied a single word. Its enough to show how much they are sincere to Pakistan…

Well done. I have mailed Geo’s administration for apologies on their TV and newspaper and to pay fine on voilating the law. If I ever receive any reply, would love to post at this blog. Every one must send such mails to show them our displeasure and anger.

Well what to say about Geo TV……….this is just a small example of their ruthless behavior……….Geo has now became very detrimental for our sovereignity…………why dont we all just boycott this channel and ask our cable operators to remove it from our channels list…………………or at least we can stop watching it and start watching some real ethical channels for news……….
well, not only the geo but all other so called thhekedars of such kind are like that. i wish and pray that our nation can see their true faces. waisay ek bat hai, geo has digested 70 million USD,in last 2 years, which they got from their masters to create the bad atmosphere in pak, and not they r unable to pay their employees… bohat saray bik chukay hain idher bhai…
